Income Inequality and Health: coastal communities in British Columbia

This is a journal article that compares income and mortality rates among age group and gender in 24 coastal communities in British Colombia. The study found that income is correlated to mortality, but not for specific age groups. This study is applicable to the Haliburton region as it was conducted in small rural communities similar to Haliburton.
