The report is the first of two. It focuses on creating a policy scan of provincial aggregate policy, as well as regional and township level policies and by laws. It also details aggregate extraction activities in Haliburton. The environmental impacts of these operation are also discussed. The second report will focus more on best practices for management and rehabilitation.
